Real development is to invest in women’s education.
Archana Wadhaval is an introverted young woman with a strong desire to work in banking. Up until grade X, she always did well in her studies.
Archana comes from a lovely family; her father is a farmer who had to pay for her older brother's schooling up until grade XII and is now an electrician. Her father could only provide for the family's basic needs.
After grade X, it became more difficult to afford Archana's schooling due to a lack of money. She was discouraged and decided to stop going to school, even though she had little chance of continuing her education through Class X.
"At the moment, we have no money. If she is accepted into a reputable college, we will send her there the following year, adds her father.
In her heart, Archana longs for others to hold her in the same regard as they hold her brother. Her enthusiasm for learning had positive results. Green Beref Organization chose her to pay for some of her expenses.
She is currently pursuing business at Sabale College, Mangaon in the Raigad region after being given a scholarship for the 11th and 12th grades by Green Beref Organization, Tata Trusts, and other key partners.
She went above and beyond to connect the community with various government programmes, such as funding for pregnant women's sonograms, the purchase of medicines and distribution among the community, and demonstrating a selfless determination towards the deserving candidate to avail of the Panchayat Samiti scholarships. She also facilitated senior citizens' paperwork so they could receive their pensions smoothly.
As she continues to inspire more community members' ambitions, her tremendous dedication has earned her the title of "Master Trainer." She will soon follow in his footsteps and work in banking.
We have been able to fund 3,302 mass scholarships because to TT.
